About the Position
SUMMARY
The Store Operations Manager will support the Director of Stores and the Director of Store Operations, performing diverse training duties, visual merchandising duties, Operational duties, loss prevention, and administrative functions. This role will effectively handle multiple priorities and projects while adapting to procedures, processes, and techniques, completing assignments in line with the department's activities and objectives. The ideal candidate for this role is detail-oriented, flexible, comfortable working with tight deadlines, able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, and excited to play a hands-on role in a corporate office operational department.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations 40%:
- Participate in the completion of Special Projects for the operations department
- Supply management and procurement:
- -Develop relationships with supply vendors, submit Purchase Orders
- -Work with the distribution center to manage incoming supply replenishment and outgoing supply.
- Regular inventory and stock review of Operational and Visual Merchandising supplies
- Helps answer incoming phone calls to the corporate office location
Sales Audit 10%
- Monitor In-store cash deposit schedules.
- Tracks a variety of metrics, including the IC chargeback program, complaints, and maintain compliance, and prepares weekly reports for management review
Training 25%
- Store Operational support in the training of the Store Managers/Stores employees.
- Understanding of internal Store operational policies and procedures.
- Monitoring and regular on-site visits, ensuring that all the policies procedures are implemented.
Visual and Merchandising 15%
- Sale Direction management:
- -Work with Marketing, Operations, and Buying teams to improve sign messaging to customers.
- -Works closely with the internal design team to develop graphics for all stores.
- Update seasonal floorplans.
Facilities10%
- Works with stores to help with all facility maintenance issues and requests.
**Note: Additional responsibilities may be added based on business needs.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma required
- Strong problem-solving skills and a creative knack for finding on-the-spot solutions.
- Project management and multi-tasking skills.
- Available to take calls on nights and weekends as needed
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and Holidays
- High attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner, and listen attentively to others, understand the material, and provides instructions to associates
