As a Junior Visual Designer on Sun & Ski Sports growing in-house Brand Marketing team, you will help craft marketing materials centered around experiences and strategies built to connect the adventure-seekers passion for the outdoors. You're the type of person who is fluent in producing design solutions for a variety of marketing media, including web, digital, print, social media, and display advertising while adhering to brand standards to keep projects moving forward. You'll edit scalable and modular assets with different strategies, messaging, and formats, across different marketing channels, ensuring deliverables meet due dates and high standards of quality.

Your talent lies in your ability to take complex ideas and translate them into simple, beautifully articulated assets. Have a niche for coming to the table with creative graphical solutions while working through design challenges that might be presented and collaborating with other designers. You're a self-starter who is able to work both autonomously and collaboratively on projects. Ultimately, you want to work with talented people creating meaningful experiences that drive purposeful results!


  • Create pixel-perfect, high-resolution digital assets for print, web, social, and display banners
  • Collaborate with the creative team to produce creative that is on strategy, on target, in the brand, and consistent with what is currently in the market
  • Understand project requirements and ideas
  • Participate in strategy discussions and provide creative solutions
  • Follow best practices and provides input towards improved solutions
  • Adopts a customer-centered approach to decisions and actions in all facets of the business that are centered on a customers' well-being
  • Using feedback from other designers to improve deliverables
  • Collaborating with the team to launch projects
  • Knowledge of design techniques, such as prototyping

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience with design software and graphics editing software, such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Production for video, illustration, and/or photography.
  • Attention to detail and dedication to maintaining empathy from start to finish.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • The ability to work efficiently on multiple projects in tandem to meet tight deadlines.
  • Shows self-motivation and sets high personal standards.
  • Passion for the outdoors and adventure sports.

  • 0-3 years in an agency or in-house creative group
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Occasionally requires lifting as appropriate to perform duties and responsibilities
  • Working Conditions: Open office environment
  • Some overtime is required as special projects arise
