SUMMARY

To provide clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources department, who supports our 30+ stores (500+ associates) nationwide.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Maintains strict level of confidentiality

- Assist HR team with pre-employment processing of associates to include ensuring proper completion of paperwork and pre-employment background and drug screenings (when applicable)

- Process new hires, terminations, associate changes, and transfers through the HRIS system

- Maintain associate personnel files i.e.) personal data, compensation, benefits, etc.

- Maintain Time and Attendance process for associates daily for the weekly payroll process by verifying attendance, correcting timecard exceptions, etc.

- Keeps track of time off, such as vacation, sick, and holiday

- Track, monitor, and communicate store compliance with new hire paperwork

- Assists with annual open enrollment

- Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of calls, and forward calls to appropriate personnel or department or takes messages when needed

- Examines associate files to answer inquiries and provides information to authorized persons, i.e.) verification of employment

- Performs clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, faxing, organization of locked storage, and scanning of documents related to the HR/Payroll Department

- Along with HR team, helps coordinates Company sponsored activities (monthly birthday cake, office parties, etc.)

- Assisting with day-to-day administrative functions

- Any other assigned duties by management

REQUIREMENTS

- 2+ years related work experience.

- Organized and detailed oriented, ability to meet deadlines.

- Strong presentation, communication, and time management skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with minimum supervision.

- Solid problem-solving skills required.

- Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations.

- Ability to multi-tasks and establish priorities.

- Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment.

- Proficient in the use Office 365 suite products and applications.

- Knowledge in HRIS systems is a very strong plus.

- College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.



Compensation

$14.00 - $20.00
