Position Overview

Our Corporate office is currently searching for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk (expense payables) to add to our growing Accounting Department. This position offers a positive work environment that is fast-paced and high-energy.

Responsibilities:

• Data entry in a menu-driven A/P System (AS400/Island Pacific)
• Reviewing, preparing, and entering invoices for payment
• Identifying discrepancies
• Review and Process Expense/Accounts Payables
• Process Employee Expense Reports
• Process Contract Labor requests
• Maintaining payment supporting documents and filing
• Preparation and distributing of checks/Master Cards payments
• Extensive communication with Vendors, Merchandise Buyers, and Distribution Center
• File all weekly check remittances for the A/P department
• Maintaining vendor files
• Maintaining confidential and meticulous records

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  
• Accounts Payable experience, a PLUS
• Strong, general computer skills, with basic knowledge of Excel spreadsheets
• Strong math aptitude and the ability to 10-key by touch
• 2+ years of accounts payable experience is a plus

Work Schedule:

• Generally 8am- 5pm
• Monday- Friday
• Permanent not Contract
